Les Gets, France

The Heart of the Portes du Soleil

The old centre of Les Gets is a charming 12th-century dairy farming village which has retained much of its old Savoyard charm. It has a lively heart and it has everything you would want for winter and summer holidays, including great restaurants, shops, bars and cafés. The resort has invested in the concept of a 4 season approach with activities and fun to be had year round.

Les Gets is not only a great standalone resort in its own right, it also sits as a key resort within the Portes Du Soleil broader ski with its 12 other resorts and 650kms of skiing.

Les Gets has been voted by the Telegraph as the best family ski resort in France, which is supported by the 'Petits Montagnards' award for childcare.

Located just one hour from Geneva, Chalet Julienne is easy to access and offers you a fantastic, all year round mountain retreat. There is plenty of parking at the chalet and the roads and driveway are cleared each day during heavy snow.

Chalet Julienne

 Winter & Summer Chalet

Chalet Julienne is a spacious 5 bedroom chalet (also available to hire as two separate sections of the chalet, 'A' and 'B') offering self catered accommodation on the slopes of Les Gets. Chalet Julienne has loads to offer including two lounges and kitchens, open fireplaces, a sauna with additional shower, underfloor heating, and free WIFI.

In the winter the chalet is perfectly located overlooking the village of Les Gets, near one of the main lift systems allowing quick and easy access to Les Gets, Morzine, Avoriaz and the entire Portes du Soleil ski area, including 12 top class French and Swiss ski resorts. The chalet is ski-in depending on conditions and the bus to the lifts is at the end of the drive to get going in the morning.

In the summer Chalet Julienne is perfect for an Alpine holiday. As well as the incredible mountain views, there is world class mountain biking, a series of marked trails for walking or running, kayaking and Wibit on the lakes, an 18 hole golf course, paragliding, river rafting, and much much more...
